OAU Honours Ismaila Baiyewunmi with Award of Excellence, NANS Southwest Commends Achievement

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Southwest Zone D, has hailed the conferment of an Award of Excellence on Barrister Ismaila Baiyewunmi by Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.

The recognition came during the university's 65th Anniversary Celebration and was awarded in acknowledgment of Baiyewunmi's contributions to leadership, educational development, and public service.

In a statement signed by its Coordinator, Comrade Adeyemo Josiah Kayode, NANS Southwest described the honour as a testament to Baiyewunmi's enduring impact on youth development and nation-building.

The student body noted that the award reflects values of excellence, service, and leadership that continue to shape educational and societal progress.
