The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Southwest Zone D, has congratulated the newly inaugurated National President, Comrade Babatunde Akinteye, and the National Executive Council, describing the leadership transition as an opportunity to deepen institutional reforms within the student movement.
According to the Southwest Zonal Coordinator, Comrade Adeyemo Josiah Kayode (BILLIONCODES), the emergence of the new leadership presents an opportunity to strengthen advocacy for student welfare, educational development, youth empowerment, and constructive engagement with government and stakeholders.
The association also noted that the Southwest Zone's production of the National President, Secretary-General, and Financial Secretary reinforces the region's historical role in providing strategic leadership within NANS.
NANS Southwest pledged its continued support for the administration while expressing confidence that the new leadership would justify the trust placed in it by millions of Nigerian students through impactful and accountable governance.
